Bubbles in a Copper Oval Pendant
One-of-a-Kind: Whimsical bubbles are found in this pendant where the bubbles are anodized niobium* riveted to a textured copper oval. The texture in the copper oval was produced by overheating the copper with a torch which gives interesting but unpredictable results.
All pendants come with an 18 inch leather cord with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. If you would prefer a 16”, 20” or 24” cord, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org before shipping.
* Niobium (Nb) is a reactive metal similar to titanium. An electrical current passed through it will change the surface color (anodized). The amount of voltage applied will determine the color. It is hypoallergenic because it is resistant to acids and alkalines. To clean, if it loses it’s shine, use any window cleaner. It costs about the same as sterling silver and is a bit lighter in weight. While the anodized color should not fade, it is a surface color and can scratch but not readily.
