Silver And Gold Byzantine Chain Maille Bracelet

This sterling silver and 14k gold-filled * bracelet in a byzantine weave and is hand crafted with 16g wire giving it a more “chunky” appearance and feel. The contrast between the silver and gold really brings out the classic pattern of the byzantine weave. It is suitable for both men and women.

This bracelet is 5/8 inch wide and has a sterling silver lobster clasp. It is available in lengths of 6” to 10”. If you would like to order a different length from those offered, please email bernadettes11@gmail.com to inquire about pricing and shipping. The bracelet pictured is 8-1/2” long.

SIZING: For this bracelet, I would recommend adding 1-1/4” to your wrist measurement.

CLEANING: To clean sterling silver, use a liquid silver dip.

* “Gold-filled” is a U.S.A. industry standard that legally requires 1/20th or 5% pure gold by weight. It is a strictly regulated process that involves pressure boding multiple layers of sold 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass resulting in a durable, quality, real gold product. Because the outer layer of gold is thick, unlike gold-plated, your piece will not tarnish, flake or fade. If one is not allergic to gold, it is unlikely one would get a reaction to gold-filled. While gold-filled remains a less expensive alternative to solid gold, it’s considerable gold content makes it about twice as expensive as sterling silver.
